申请教师教育计划

The Teacher Education faculty and the University’s Teacher Education Advisory Committee consider several factors in making the decision about an individual's admission to the 教师教育计划 (TEP). All students who plan to follow a 程序 leading to initial certification must formally apply and be admitted to the 教师教育计划. 学生 may not enroll in courses designated as “professional development” without a full TEP acceptance and a signed acceptance letter. 具体申请日期将在uw公布 教师教育计划日历 and can be obtained from the DSE Office and the Education Advisor.

Degree-seeking students should apply and provide official transcripts from the college/ university last attended indicating the achievement of a baccalaureate degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Non-degree-seeking students should apply and provide official transcripts from the college/university last attended, a letter from the college/university last attended or currently attending, 表明他或她的学术地位良好.

Admission to doctoral study is restricted to applicants whose backgrounds show promise of scholarship in their field of study. For admission to the doctoral 程序, an applicant must submit:

• Evidence of an earned master’s degree from an accredited college or university (or international equivalent) with an accumulative GPA of 3.0或更大.

• Two letters of recommendation, one from a professional colleague or former professor

• Other specific criteria may be required by concentrations within the Ph.D. 程序.

国际申请者

• 不考虑英语水平文件, all international students from non-English speaking countries will be evaluated for English proficiency upon arrival at 校本. If English proficiency is deemed lower than 校本's requirements, the student may not be allowed to take courses other than English as a Second Language until the deficiency is removed.
